We’re excited to welcome Erik Åkesson to the Akinn Advisory Board

As we prepare for the full launch of our fully digitised investment banking platform, we are pleased to announce the addition of Erik Åkesson to our Advisory Board.

Erik brings a truly unique perspective, having begun his career at sea before transitioning into finance. Over the past 20 years, he has held various leadership roles at HSBC, RBS, Nordea, and Danske Bank, with a focus on leading FX and Commodity teams through their digital transformations. Most recently, he led the digital transformation of Danske Bank’s SME segment.

In addition to his banking career, Erik co-founded Plug Software AB, a company addressing revenue leakage in the industrial aftermarket, and currently serves as a Senior Business Advisor at BearingPoint. His combination of deep financial expertise and technology-driven insight makes him a valuable addition as we continue to redefine how private market transactions are originated, distributed, and executed.
